Ricardo Sotelo – Founder of Budget to Prosperity
Ricardo Sotelo is the founder of Budget to Prosperity, a financial coaching service dedicated to helping individuals and families build financial stability through education, guidance, and practical strategies.
With over 12 years of experience in the banking industry, Ricardo has worked closely with people from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate personal finances, understand credit, manage debt, create realistic budgets, and develop healthy savings habits. Throughout his career, he has seen how a lack of financial guidance can prevent people from reaching their full potential, both financially and personally.
Ricardo is a lifelong entrepreneur, beginning his entrepreneurial journey at the age of nine. His passion for growth, education, and service has led him to participate in community outreach, social initiatives, and school-based programs, where he has supported families and individuals through financial education and guidance.
Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Ricardo understands firsthand the challenges many immigrants face when adapting to the financial system in the United States. Like many others, he came to this country seeking personal and professional growth. Today, he is committed to helping others understand how finances work in this country of opportunity, empowering them to make informed decisions and build a better future.
